A Wholly Owned Company of State of Maharashtra (India), registered on 16thFebruary 1974. Forest area of 4.969 Lakh  hectare is   leased  to  FDCM  Ltd. for    development  by  Government  of  Maharashtra.  Plantation  of  Teak has been raised over  1.5  Lakh  hectare  between  1970 and 2000.  Annual  income from thinning of teak plantations and harvesting of bamboo is around Rs.40 crores.
