WFP assistance was first provided to Forest Development Board under Project 572 from August 1971. The aid is continued even after the merger of Forest Development Board in FDCM Ltd. Nine districts are covered under this aid which continued till December, 1991. Thereafter followup of the works were continued under the Revolving Fund and the same were completed by March, 1998.This program has now been discontinued.
